Our interest is purely in improved accessibility for the Deaf Community via the Internet. We do not supply Television for instance, but we do provide BSL for web pages and CD-ROM. Currently all businesses have to ensure that their web sites meet WC3 standards and that pages should be navigable by Blind users but few companies are tackling the issue of improved access for Deaf people.

We work with webdesigners, local authorities, insurance companies and the commercial sector to help them look at ways of improving navigation and access to information by including BSL in the over all design of their websites. Ultimately there is a financial gain in using BSL in terms of increased sales and kudos, but perhaps more importantly it demonstrates that companies and organisations care about the Deaf and don't leave Deaf people wholly reliant on text. It can give you a competitive edge that will put your company at the forefront of technology.
